Have you noticed anything different around these parts? I have been busy online trying to grapple with the website, make it look cleaner, sleeker and more 2017. It included trying to style a photo - something I really enjoyed! Getting the yarn all laid out nicely, adding colourful needles, tweaking things ever so slightly until Sharon and I got the picture we were both happy with! You might have seen it on our homepage, or as our Facebook cover picture, but if not, here it is! In a world with first class photoshoppers who style pictures, and then alter the images so well you can't tell the finished picture has been altered at all, it's quite a challenge for 2 knitters to come up to that standard! But that yarn is so nice it really does all the speaking - I find there isn't much that isn't stunning when arranged in rainbow order! The yarn is the really lovely Baby Cashmerino Tonals by Debbie Bliss, which might well be my favourite yarn in the whole shop! They have recently doubled the amount of colourways available which has made this photo extra special. I also think the new white background on the website works well for us, it's definitely easier for me to read what I'm typing!
I also wanted to remind you to check out our Facebook page if you're not already on there. "Like" us, and join in the conversation. It's always nice to chat with you all when you come in the shop, and it's been nice over last week to see quite a few join in with some more random posts that we have posted! I especially liked Sharon's video off all her current projects - I knew there was a few, but it was something to see them all together! She is certainly using her recovery time to the fullest! As for how she is doing, she is getting used to the removable cast, and has begun physiotherapy to strengthen the ankle and start weight baring on it. It's a lengthier and more painful process than I think she was expecting. It seems like the short opening hours are here to stay for a while longer. We do very much appreciate your patience during this time! Happy Knitting! Jen ~x~

Visited yesterday to purchase some buttons. I always want to buy more. A real treasure trove.
