The same lovely sock yarn as the classic 100g balls of Rico Superba Sock Yarn but in a more convenient 50g size. Perfect for adding contrasting colours to your socks and ideal as a 4ply mix of wool and acrylic.
50g ball, 210m.
75% wool, 25% polyamide.
Tension 30 stitches by 42 rows on 2-3mm needles.
Recommended hook - 2-3mm
Machine washable
I have used this yarn to great effect making a colour block pair of socks with the Jeans, pastel pink, smokey pink and beige colours and they have come out great. The yarn washes well, in fact becoming softer once it's been washed. I also use this yarn if I want to do a pair of patterned socks as it is just one colour, which makes the patterning really stand out. Very good plain coloured sock yarn!
